My name is Juliana Baxter,
but you can call me Jule.
I graduated Cum Laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Illustration and a concentration in Surface Design.
I've always loved drawing. As a kid, my passion for the hardcore/pop punk music scene got me interested in tattoo designs and artistry. This appreciation of art combined with all my passions, including my love for animals, the environment, and wildlife. When I began my career at SCAD and learned I could take my illustrations and turn them into unique, trend-setting patterns; I absolutely fell in love with surface design.
Upon graduating, I spent nearly 3 years as an in-house textile/surface designer before moving on to Freelance work. Working as a textile designer, I exercised my ability to adapt to endless different art styles to meet and interpret a client's inspiration. These skills have translated well into my freelance work. With experience in scientific illustration, textile design, graphic design, surface pattern creation, and more - I'm an immensely versatile artist that will work hard to meet your projects needs!
Aside from art, animals, and music - I also have a love for video game culture and all things "geeky". I draw a lot of inspiration from vaporwave and kidcore trends.
I have so much passion and pride for what I do. I will always do my best to turn out the most successful work in a timely manner. Let's create, together!
Clients
Over the past several years, I've been lucky to collaborate with an incredible variety of clients.
While working for my past employer, Cathay Home (formerly Royal Heritage Home), I worked as a designer for companies such as Dormify, Dillard’s, Belk, Ross, Boscov's, DD's, Bealls, Amazon, Pricemart, and more. I also had the opportunity to work with a variety of licensed brands, such as Shabby Chic, Halston, Isaac Mizrahi, Pappagallo, Williamsburg, and more.
I’ve also been granted some great artistic opportunities independently.
Most notably, I have worked on a variety of artwork for the band Fame On Fire. For them, I created an entire line of merchandise designs (hoodies, T-shirts, tote bags, beanies, etc.), I created their on-stage backdrop (as well as an animated version of the same backdrop), Guitar Pick designs, and a large number of album artwork and YouTube thumbnails for their cover songs.
Beyond Fame On Fire, I have done other music industry work. Some of my clients include Further Within, Al Coda, Dirty Rivals, and more.
Other projects I have worked on include logo designs. I’ve designed successful logos for a variety of clients - including musicians, circus performers, equestrian facilities, multimedia studios, and construction companies.

I am also open to private client commissions for scientific illustrations, tattoo designs, portraits, and patterns! I have been grateful to work on a number of these in the past, and it is always fun for both myself and my clients.
Whatever the project, I’m ready to collaborate and create something beautiful with you!
